The program is working. We’re giving our players more opportunities to play and quality instruction in the offseason and it’s yielding results. The scouts are starting to come around more and local coaches are signing our players. “Unexpected growth” was a term I used often in 2010 when discussing RBI. Year two of MS RBI absolutely exploded in terms of participants in the summer league and interest in the program. Mississippi RBI would like to thank everyone involved for another great baseball clinic hosted by Jackson State University Saturday. The number of participants from the first clinic at Tougaloo College in December, 48, more than doubled to 106 for Saturday’s camp.
