A Super Saturday – Three Big Events!!!
1) Several members of the Mississippi Braves along with Major League Baseball Scouts, former professional baseball players, and current and former college and high school baseball coaches will host a FREE youth fundamentals baseball clinic for ages 6-18 Saturday June 13 at 9am at Bob Braddy Field on the campus of Jackson State University.
2) For all interested volunteer coaches there will be a coaches clinic. Lessons will include hitting, infield, outfield, pitching, catching, and baserunning. Coaches will also receive tips on organizing daily practice schedules.
3) This event will also be the FINAL registration day for RBI Summer League. We will begin playing games June 20 so you are running out of time to sign up your boy or girl or even an entire team. Registration fee is $10 per player.
M-Braves Hitting Coach Roosevelt Brown, a Vicksburg native and former Major Leaguer, along with M-Braves second baseman Travis Jones, outfielder Concepcion “Concho” Rodriguez, and left-handed pitcher Edgar Osuna will be there to work with RBI players and coaches.

Art Gardner – MLB Scout and former major league outfielder
Moises Rodriguez – Former minor league catcher and volunteer coach at Hinds CC
Keith Case – Head Baseball Coach at Copiah-Lincoln CC
Chuck Box – Head Baseball Coach at Jackson Prep
Brian Emory – MS RBI Executive Director
